1. Agreement to Terms

By using this website or booking services with Quartzite Countertops Toronto, you agree to these Terms of Service and all applicable laws of Ontario and Canada. Your signed quote or contract for a specific project takes priority over these general terms where they differ.

3. Pricing and Quotes

Prices on this website are published in Canadian dollars (CAD) as installed ranges. Your final price is set out in an itemised quote after laser templating and depends on stone lot, slab yield, edge profile, cut-outs, finish and site access. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, and stone reservations depend on slab-yard availability. Applicable taxes are added to all invoices.

4. Deposits and Payment

A deposit is typically required to reserve slabs and schedule fabrication, with the balance due on completion of installation. Payment terms for commercial projects are set out in the project contract.

5. Natural Stone Variation

Quartzite is a natural material. Colour, veining, crystal pockets, natural pits and fissures vary from slab to slab and within a slab. Samples and photos show typical character, not an exact match. We review your slab with you before cutting; once you approve a slab and layout, natural variation is not a defect.

6. Site Readiness

Cabinets must be installed, level and secured before templating. Appliances, sinks and faucets should be on site or specified. Changes to cabinets after templating may require re-templating at additional cost. Plumbing and electrical connections are the responsibility of licensed trades unless stated in your quote.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please give at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule a templating or installation appointment. Once fabrication has started, slab and fabrication costs incurred are non-refundable.

8. Warranty

Installations carry a written 2-year workmanship warranty covering seams, adhesion, cut-outs, support and fabrication. The warranty does not cover natural variation, damage from impact, misuse, harsh chemicals, failure to maintain sealing or work done by others. Sealing protects against staining and must be renewed about every 18 months.

9. Commercial Work and Permits

Commercial work is built to CSA A126 and the NSI Dimension Stone Design Manual. We do not guarantee permit approval or inspection outcomes, which rest with the authority having jurisdiction.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Quartzite Countertops Toronto is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this website or our services. Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount paid for that project.
