Quartzite Vanity Tops for GTA Bathrooms
A bathroom vanity is the smallest stone job in most homes and one of the hardest working. It sees toothpaste, soap, hair dye, nail polish remover, hot styling tools and water all day. Quartzite handles every one of those. It is a metamorphic sandstone around 7 Mohs, it does not etch from acidic products and it holds up to moisture with a good impregnating seal.
Because vanities are small, they are also where quartzite makes the most financial sense. A single vanity from $1,800 gives you real natural stone, and many vanities can be cut from the offcuts of a kitchen slab you are already buying.
Types of Quartzite Vanities We Fabricate
Single Sink Vanity
Powder rooms, kids’ bathrooms and guest baths. Usually 8-12 sqft, often cut from offcuts.
Double Sink Vanity
The ensuite standard: two undermount sinks, two faucet sets and a slab splash. We template to your exact sink model so both cut-outs sit dead centre.
Floating Vanity
A wall-hung vanity with a mitred front apron that makes the stone look thick. We coordinate hidden steel brackets with your contractor and cut the mitre on the Flow Mach 500 waterjet.
Slab Backsplash
A 4-6 inch slab splash, or full height behind the mirror. It protects the wall and avoids grout lines that trap grime.
Undermount vs Vessel vs Integrated Look
| Sink Style | Look | Cleaning | Cut-Out Work | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Undermount | Clean, modern | Easiest, wipe straight in | CNC-cut and polished reveal | Most popular |
| Vessel | Statement bowl | Clean around the base | Drain and faucet holes only | Taller faucet needed |
| Drop-in | Traditional | Rim collects grime | Rough cut, rim covers it | Least common on stone |
| Wall-mount faucet | Minimal deck | Very easy | No faucet holes | Plan plumbing early |

Best Quartzites for Bathrooms
- Sea Pearl: soft grey-green, calm and spa-like. Our most popular vanity stone.
- White quartzite: bright and clean with marble-style veins.
- Taj Mahal: warm and luxurious in powder rooms.
- Grey quartzite: pairs with black and brushed fixtures.
Planning Tips
- Pick the sink first. We need the model number to template the cut-out.
- Decide on faucet holes. Single hole, 4 inch centreset or 8 inch widespread changes the drilling.
- Think about the splash. Height and whether it wraps a side wall.
- Check the cabinet. It must be level and secured before templating.
- Bundle with the kitchen. One template visit and one install day can cover both.
Caring for a Quartzite Vanity
Rinse off toothpaste and hair products the same day, wipe with a pH-neutral cleaner and dry with microfibre to avoid water spots on polished stone. Reseal every 18 months, which takes about 20 minutes on a vanity. Our quartzite sealing team can do the whole house in one visit.
