Why it happens here: Local tap water averages about 128 mg/L hardness, which York Region classes as hard, so minerals dry on the surface and show up fastest on polished white stone.
How we fix it: We etch-test Super White lots before cutting, seal with Dry-Treat in the shop and again on site, and compare honed and polished with you at the slab yard.
The showroom only quoted quartz
Many showrooms do not carry real quartzite and steer you to engineered quartz. If you wanted natural stone, you were never shown it.
Counters scorched, yellowed or etched
Burn rings from hot pots, yellowing by a sunny window or dull rings from lemon and wine mean the surface cannot keep up with your cooking.

We walk you through our partner yards (Stone Tile, Ciot, Marsala) to inspect full slabs, check the lot number and make sure no resin repairs or fissures are hiding under the polish.

Our LT-2D3D laser templater scans your cabinets to 1/16 inch, picking up out-of-square walls, sink and faucet positions and every appliance gap before a single cut.

Step 3: Park Industries CNC & Waterjet Cutting
A lot of shops still run dry blades that stress the stone and leave micro-fissures on the cut line. We cut on a flooded diamond Park Industries CNC bridge saw and mitre on our Flow Mach 500 waterjet.

Step 4: Hand-Polishing & Sealing by Marco
Marco Delvecchio checks every mitred seam and vein match before the edges go through the Marmo Meccanica polisher and the stone gets a Dry-Treat Stain-Proof impregnating seal.

A WSIB-cleared two-person crew levels, sets and seams your stone with Akemi colour-matched epoxy, caulks the perimeter and leaves the kitchen broom-clean, usually in one appointment.
