We think you should be able to budget a kitchen before you ever pick up the phone. So here is every number: per-square-foot rates by stone, typical project prices, service prices and commercial ranges. No form to fill out, no “call for pricing”.
Quartzite is natural metamorphic sandstone, about 7 Mohs and acid-resistant, and every slab is unique. That is why prices come as ranges. Your itemised quote shows exactly where you land inside the range and which line moves the number.

Quartzite Cost per sqft: What You Are Paying For
When you see $85-$150/sqft for fabrication and install, here is what is inside it:
- The slab. Priced by stone and grade. You pay for the whole slab, not just the pieces.
- Slab yield. A typical kitchen loses about 32% to offcuts. Smart nesting brings that down.
- Laser templating. Digital site measure to 1/16 inch.
- CNC cutting. Flooded diamond cutting on our Park Industries CNC.
- Edge polishing. Marmo Meccanica line, 60 to 3000 grit.
- Dry-Treat sealing. Shop seal plus on-site seal.
- Delivery insurance. 1,100 lb coverage on every load.
- Two-person install. WSIB-cleared crew, usually one day.
- 2-year warranty. Written, on every install.

How to Lower Your Quartzite Cost
- Pick a slab with fewer seams needed. One long slab beats two short ones.
- Nest vanities into kitchen offcuts. You already paid for that stone.
- Choose eased edges. Included at no extra cost.
- Mix stones. A statement island in Taj Mahal or Cristallo with an entry stone on the perimeter.
- Avoid rush. Plan two to three weeks ahead and skip the $350-$950 rush fee.
What Every Quote Includes
Every quote itemises slab, fabrication, edge, sealing, delivery and install. Laser templating, cut-outs, specialty edges, waterfalls, backsplashes, removal of old tops and rush scheduling are listed on their own lines.
