If you wanted natural stone, you were never shown it. 2 ### Counters scorched, yellowed or etched Burn rings from hot pots, yellowing by a sunny window or dull rings from lemon and wine mean the surface cannot keep up with your cooking. 3 ### Edges chipping by the dishwasher Chips along the sink run usually mean a soft surface or edges cut on worn dry blades. Quartzite cut on a flooded CNC holds its edge. 4 ### Quotes that are one vague number A lump sum hides slab yield, edges, sealing and delivery. We itemise every line so you can compare fabricators fairly. Precision Workflow ## See Your Slab Cut, Then Installed: 5 Steps 1. 1 ### Step 1: Slab Hand-Selection We walk you through our partner yards (Stone Tile, Ciot, Marsala) to inspect full slabs, check the lot number and make sure no resin repairs or fissures are hiding under the polish. 2. 2 ### Step 2: Digital Laser Templating Our LT-2D3D laser templater scans your cabinets to 1/16 inch, picking up out-of-square walls, sink and faucet positions and every appliance gap before a single cut. 3. 3 ### Step 3: Park Industries CNC & Waterjet Cutting A lot of shops still run dry blades that stress the stone and leave micro-fissures on the cut line. We cut on a flooded diamond Park Industries CNC bridge saw and mitre on our Flow Mach 500 waterjet. 4. 4 ### Step 4: Hand-Polishing & Sealing by Marco Marco Delvecchio checks every mitred seam and vein match before the edges go through the Marmo Meccanica polisher and the stone gets a Dry-Treat Stain-Proof impregnating seal. 5. 5 ### Step 5: Clean 1-Day GTA Installation A WSIB-cleared two-person crew levels, sets and seams your stone with Akemi colour-matched epoxy, caulks the perimeter and leaves the kitchen broom-clean, usually in one appointment. (Source: Wikipedia [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodbridge,_Ontario →](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodbridge,_Ontario) ) Homes We Know ## Kleinburg Custom Builds to Thornhill Family Homes **Kleinburg** is custom-build country around a village core protected by the Kleinburg-Nashville Heritage Conservation District: big islands, waterfall ends [/quartzite-waterfall-edge/ →](/quartzite-waterfall-edge/) , full-height backsplashes [/quartzite-backsplash/ →](/quartzite-backsplash/) and the occasional one-piece dining table. We template from builder drawings and confirm on site. **Woodbridge** homes often have a main kitchen plus a second prep kitchen in the basement. We nest both on shared slabs to save stone. **Thornhill**, on both sides of Yonge Street, mixes 1980s family homes with new infill. Older cabinets get checked for level at templating. **Maple and Vellore Village** newer subdivisions favour grey and white quartzites, plus laundry and mudroom counters cut from kitchen offcuts. ### Recent Projects Cut a Few Minutes Away - **Concord Super White kitchen:** 95 sqft with a full-height backsplash, every lot etch-tested. $18,500, 4 weeks. - **Woodbridge Super White kitchen:** client walked the Ciot yard on a Saturday and watched the slab get cut the next week. $12,300. - **Kleinburg 12-foot Taj Mahal island:** zero lip at the seam. $9,400. - **Maple grey quartzite vanity and laundry counter:** done in 10 days. Yes, private slab inspection is by appointment at our 8,000 sq ft facility. You can see your slab before it is cut and watch the waterjet at work. ### Do you go to the slab yards with clients? Yes, we run weekly slab-yard visits with Woodbridge and Maple clients, usually at Ciot in Concord and Stone Tile. ### Which side of Thornhill do you cover? Both. Thornhill is split at Yonge Street, and we cover the L4J side to the west and the L3T side to the east with the same crews. ### Will hard water mark a white quartzite counter? It can leave dried mineral rings on a polished finish. York Region puts local water at about 128 mg/L, so we suggest honed or leathered for busy sink runs, seal every install and recommend a pH-neutral cleaner. ### Do I need a heritage permit for a Kleinburg kitchen? Kleinburg village sits inside the Kleinburg-Nashville Heritage Conservation District, which governs exterior changes. A countertop replacement is interior work, so it rarely needs one, and on new custom homes we template from the builder drawings.
