## Quartzite Vanity Tops for GTA Bathrooms

A bathroom vanity is the smallest stone job in most homes and one of the hardest working. It sees toothpaste, soap, hair dye, nail polish remover, hot styling tools and water all day. Quartzite handles every one of those. It is a metamorphic sandstone around 7 Mohs, it does not etch from acidic products and it holds up to moisture with a good impregnating seal.

Because vanities are small, they are also where quartzite makes the most financial sense. A single vanity from $1,800 gives you real natural stone, and many vanities can be cut from the offcuts of a kitchen slab you are already buying.

## Types of Quartzite Vanities We Fabricate

### Single Sink Vanity

Powder rooms, kids’ bathrooms and guest baths. Usually 8-12 sqft, often cut from offcuts.

### Double Sink Vanity

The ensuite standard: two undermount sinks, two faucet sets and a slab splash. We template to your exact sink model so both cut-outs sit dead centre.

### Floating Vanity

A wall-hung vanity with a mitred front apron that makes the stone look thick. We coordinate hidden steel brackets with your contractor and cut the mitre on the Flow Mach 500 waterjet.

### Slab Backsplash

A 4-6 inch slab splash, or full height behind the mirror. It protects the wall and avoids grout lines that trap grime.

2.  **Decide on faucet holes.** Single hole, 4 inch centreset or 8 inch widespread changes the drilling.

### How long does a vanity take?

1-2 weeks from template for most vanities. If you are doing the kitchen too, we template and install both together.

### Will hair dye or nail polish remover damage quartzite?

They will not etch it. Wipe spills promptly so dyes do not soak into the sealer, and use a pH-neutral cleaner.

### Do you remove the old vanity top?

Yes. Removal is quoted on its own line. Your plumber disconnects and reconnects the sink and faucet.
